Funeral Costs
Direct Cremation
Total Cost – £1,455
Inclusive of:
- Collection of the deceased from the Colchester area during normal working hours
- Provision of a simple coffin (note that larger coffins may incur extra costs)
- Cremation carried out at local Crematorium
- No attendance at the service
- Ashes will be available to collect from 4pm on the same day
- All third-party fees

Total Cost – £3,472
Inclusive of:
- Collection of the deceased from the Colchester area
- Provision of a simple coffin (note that larger coffins may incur extra costs)
- Provision of a hearse, conductor and four pall bearers
- Cremation carried out at Colchester Crematorium
- Freedom Funerals charge – £2,095
- Third Party Costs:
- Crematorium fee – £1,065
- Doctor’s fee – £82
- Minister / celebrant – appx £230
